We present the third exhibition of
Virginia Lasheras in our gallery. She was part of the group of artists such as Miguel Peña or Jorge Gay who investigated and renovated the world of figuration. Her works reflect a profound knowledge of the classic world and a humanism product of her constant worrying on Man and Universe.
In this show we focus in one of his main themes, the human being, individually as well and in his relation with space and architecture. Lasheras is interested in showing the sinking of the ideal, the end of Man as hero, represented in characters that are submissive and rebels at the same time.
