We begin 2023 with the exhibition Transiciones by José Luis Aguiló. The painter from Barcelona presents his second solo exhibition in our gallery with a selection of oils and gouaches from the last 3 years.

Aguiló's work has evolved over time. Drawing is now of paramount importance, and many of his small gouaches on paper are complex preliminary studies of what will become the work in oil on canvas. His work is increasingly ascetic, serene, with a total absence of artifice; it is a work that seeks the essence of painting.

The exhibition Transicioness by José Luis Aguiló can be visited until April 15th.
