With the title of Tránsitos we present José Leguey’s first personal exhibition in Barcelona. It’s a selection of mixed media works where collage is a main element.
Leguey uses glues and acids providing his works veils that give them disturbing feeling . His themes reflect a clear social satire close to surrealism.
It’s typical that his works present some kind of duality, confronting different possibilities of a same situation giving a very personal aspect to all of his work and allowing the viewer to confront his work from different points of view
