In this exhibition we present the works of some artists who studied with Torres-Garcia at his workshop in Montevideo.
The majority of works are oils on cardboard dated between 1945 and 1960 and they reflect perfectly the teachings of Torres Garcia and his desire to develope constructivism, an art for the Cono Sur.
Among others we present works by Manuel Aguiar, Gonzalo Fonseca, José Gurvich, Francisco Matto, Gastón Olade, Manuel Pailós, Antonio Pezzino, Alceu Ribeiro, Augusto Torres or the brothers Jorge and Rodolfo Visca.
