After 45 years of happy and gratifying trajectory, Dalmau gallery says goodbye.
These have truly been happy and exciting years, but everything has a beginning and an end, and we have chosen this moment of celebration of our 45th birthday to close the cycle of the gallery.
The recognition we have received over the years from the press, with two ACCA awards, and from gallery owners with the GAC Lifetime Achievement Award, has confirmed the suitability of the path we chose back in 1979.
With our October exhibition, dedicated to J. Torres-García, which has had a great echo in Barcelona, we wanted to pay tribute not only to the artist, but also to all of you who have supported us for so long. This exhibition has been our farewell, the Dalmau’s final bow.
We will be at the gallery until December 20th with a small exhibition dedicated to the avant-garde, which will remind us of our beginnings.
Thank you for having shared with us this long and gratifying journey.
